DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING THE REMAINDER OF WELDING WIRE OF CO2 GAS WELDING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device for displaying the remainder of a welding wire of a Co2 gas welding system is provided to stably maintain a replacement timing of a welding wire because a switching unit which makes an operator recognize the replacement timing of the welding wire is installed in the inside of a drum. CONSTITUTION: A device for displaying the remainder of a welding wire of a Co2 gas welding system comprises a switching unit(40) and an indicating member(80). The switching unit is mounted in a wire drum. A welding wire(9) passes through the switching unit. The switching unit is electrically connected to a controller(60) and forms a closed circuit with the controller by using the welding wire. An operator can recognize a replacement timing of the welding wire according to electrical opening/closing signals being output from the controller. The switching unit comprises a housing(41) and a pair of electrical connection members(45). The housing is connected to an inner wall surface of the wire drum. The electrical connection members are installed in the housing to be mutually insulated. The electrical connection member comprises a through-hole(43) in which the welding wire can passes through. The electrical connection member is electrically connected to the controller.
