PURPOSE: A portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to store displayed images according to the touch input signal of a specific touch pattern located on a touch screen by recognizing a predetermined command. CONSTITUTION: A first image is inputted to a first camera(S410). A second image is inputted to a second camera(S420). A control unit displays the inputted images on a touch screen when the first and the second image are inputted(S430). The first image is displayed on the whole area of the touch screen. The second image is displayed on the predetermined area of the whole area. The control unit controls the storage of the displayed image when the predetermined command is recognized(S440).
