PURPOSE: A payment system using a portable terminal and method thereof are provided to effectively authenticate users by using identification like the ID(Identity) of the user, home number, or an e-mail address. CONSTITUTION: An identification information reception unit(121) receives one or more identification values from plural identification values of a purchaser from a portable terminal. A portable terminal number extraction unit(123) extracts the portable terminal number of a purchaser corresponding to received identification values. A user authentication unit(124) receives terminal information stored in the portable terminal from the portable terminal. The user authentication unit authenticates the user of the portable terminal by comparing the received terminal information and the extracted portable terminal number. |
