PURPOSE: A portable apparatus and external apparatus connecting apparatus are provided to communicate an external apparatus with an application of a portable apparatus through an audio interface of the portable apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(5) analyzes a first signal received through an audio interface from a portable apparatus(1). In case the first signal is transmitted to an external device(6), the microcomputer transmits the first signal to the external apparatus through a wireless communication module(3). The microcomputer analyzes a second signal received by the wireless communication module from the external apparatus. In case the first signal is transmitted to an application within the portable apparatus, the microcomputer transmits the second signal to the application through the audio interface.
