PURPOSE: A polarizing plate, a manufacturing method thereof, and an optical device are provided to offer high polarization characteristics while having high penetration rate. CONSTITUTION: A polarizing plate comprises a polarizer(100). The degree of orientation of polarizing plate is 15 to 30. A first protection film(102) is laminated at the upper surface of the polarizer. A second protection film(106) is laminated at the lower surface of the polarizer. A third protection film(104) is laminated at the upper surface of the first protection film. A release film(110) is laminated at the lower surface of the first protection film.
