PURPOSE: An outdoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to block noise generating during the operation of a compressor by obtaining an absorbing performance for the noise. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit for an air conditioner comprises a casing, a compressor(30), an accumulator(40), a first absorbing part(110), a second absorbing part(120), and a soundproof part(130). The compressor is installed inside the casing and compresses refrigerant. The accumulator is installed inside the casing and separates liquid refrigerant among refrigerants flowing into the compressor. The first and second absorbing parts absorb noise generating during the operation of the compressor. The first absorbing part absorbs the noise of relatively low frequency band in comparison with the second absorbing part. The soundproof part blocks the noise generating during the operation of the compressor. |
