PURPOSE: A probe holder for preventing slag attachment is provided to prevent a slag attachment near to a holder in advance, thereby reducing a cost loss caused by a task delay and useless energy consumption. CONSTITUTION: A probe holder for preventing slag attachment comprises a sub-lance(40), a holder, and a probe. Cooling water flows around the sub-lance. The holder is coupled to the lower part of the sub-lance. The probe comprises a structure covering the holder. The sub-lance comprises a purge gas spreading from an upper side to a lower side in the inside. The holder comprises a purge inlet(50) so that the purge gas can be inserted from the sub-lance. A plurality of purge holes(51) is formed in the lower part(15) of a coupling unit of a holder. The purge holes take less than 50% of a whole area of the outer circumference.
