PURPOSE: A load control method of a load control device is provided to improve the efficiency of a load control system by intuitively recognizing economic benefit to a load control command. CONSTITUTION: A load control message including a condition requiring load control and price-based information is received from a host device(S10). It is determined whether the load control message satisfies a predetermined load control condition(S20). When the load control message satisfies the predetermined load control condition, a load control command is transmitted to one or more load devices based on the load control message(S30). A message including information indicating a load control state corresponding to the load control message(S40).
