PURPOSE: A method for storing content using chipset pairing and a device thereof are provided to encode and store content, thereby preventing leakage of content. CONSTITUTION: A decoding unit(210) decodes a CW(Control Word). The decoding unit obtains a CW. The CW is encoded by a pairing key. A descrambler(220) descrambles data included in a transport stream using the CW. The descrambler obtains content. A session key is generated per a time interval using the pairing key, time information, and a hash function.
