PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting and removing condensed water from an air receiver tank are provided to effectively remove condensed water by automatically detecting the condensed water in an air receiver tank. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting and removing condensed water from an air receiver tank comprises a level detector(100), an automatic drain valve(200), and a controller(300). The level detector automatically detects the level of condensed water in an air receiver tank(30). The level detector has a high level sensor(120), a low level sensor(130), and a detection controller(110). The detection controller is connected to the high level and low level sensors and stores and transmits the detected results. The automatic drain valve is installed on a vertical drain pipe(60) and is automatically opened and closed. The controller is connected to the level detector and the automatic drain valve and controls the opening and closing of the drain valve. |
