Device (I), for separating a desired compound from a mixture containing the compound comprises: an enclosure or column; a multi-channel rotary valve (RV); a plurality of passage tubes (Li) connecting the RV to Pi; and means of connection (for a part of the Li tubes) of two adjacent tubes, where the means of connection are derivations (Li, i+1) joining two adjacent lines Li and Li+1, comprising means of sectioning (Vi, i+1) and located near RV. - Device (I), for separating a desired compound from a mixture containing the compound by adsorption in a simulated moving layer comprises: an enclosure or column, comprising a plurality of adsorbing layer (Ai) and two consecutive adsorbing layer separated by at least a plate (Pi) (for collection/redistribution of the primary fluid and injection/extraction of secondary fluids in the process), comprising one or more panels of distribution/extraction/mixture or 1,2 dimethoxy ethane (DME), which allows to distribute, extract and/or mix the fluids; a multi-channel rotary valve (RV); a plurality of passage tubes (Li) connecting the RV to Pi; and means of connection (for a part of the Li tubes) of two adjacent tubes to allow the circulation of sweeping liquid to a concentration gradient of lower or zero for 40% of the time, where the means of connection are derivations (Li, i+1) joining two adjacent lines Li and Li+1 (which are external to the multi-channel rotary valve), comprising means of sectioning (Vi, i+1) and preferably located near (RV). - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a process of separation of a product from a mixture comprising sweepings the lines of derivation (Li, i+1) for 50% of time using (I). |
