PURPOSE: A composition containing Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract is provided to cheaply and quickly prevent or treat skin damage and aging due to UVB ray. CONSTITUTION: A composition for anti-aging or skin damage treatment contains Lithospermum erythrorhizon extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using hot water or ethanol. The hot water extract is prepared by adding distilled water, heating in a hot water extractor for 1-5 hours, filtering, concentrating by reduced pressure, and freeze-drying. The composition is a cosmetic composition manufactured in the form of skin softener, astringent, nutrition lotion, eye cream, massage cream, cleansing cream, cleansing foam, cleansing water, essence, or pack.
