STRUCTURE FOR EXTINGUISHING CHAMBERS OF MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKERS

PURPOSE: An interrupter structure of a molded case circuit breaker is provided to prevent a movable electrode from driving in the reverse direction through repulsion torque by including a contact unit which collides a protrusion of a housing on the movable electrode. CONSTITUTION: A contact unit(20) is formed near a rotation shaft(13a). A fore-end of a movable electrode(13) is formed for colliding a protrusion(11a) of a housing(11). A current flows a linking conductor(14) and a terminal strip(15) from a fixed electrode(12) and the movable electrode. The movable electrode rotates quickly around the rotation shaft for extinguishing an arc.
