PURPOSE: A matching pair classifying device and a method thereof are provided to classify a wrong matching pair even though the size of an image is changed or the image rotates. CONSTITUTION: A resemblance determining unit(105) determines whether a first polygon of a first image resembles a second polygon of a second image by n matching pairs. A selecting unit(107) selects n initial matching pairs of the matching pairs. When polygons do not resemble each other wherein the polygons are formed by one matching pair, a matching pair eliminating unit(109) eliminates one matching pair.
