PURPOSE: A marker for identifying barley species and a method for identifying barley using the same are provided to identify 71 barley species and to be used in scientific verification. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for identifying barley species comprises two oilgonucleotides selected from sequence numbers 1-40. A method for identifying barley species comprises: a step of amplifying barley-derived genome DNA as a template using the primer set; and a step of identifying the barley species from the amplified product. The genome DNA is derived from young plant leaved or seed of barley. A kit for identifying barley species comprises the primer set, DNA polymerase, and PCR buffer solution. |
