The railing has vertical posts (1) anchored to ground at regular intervals. Barrier modules (2) extend from one of the posts to another post. The posts have cradles (3) in lower portion at a distance and above lower end to receive a lower portion of the contiguous modules. Each post has a yoke (4) above and opposite to the cradle for receiving an upper portion of the modules. Each of the cradles secures an adjusting and fixing unit (10) i.e. screw, acting on a lower edge of each module for placing and maintaining the module in alignment with each other and fixing the modules to the post.
