<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite percussion instrument which is capable of effectively using a pet bottle as a part of a percussion instrument and can produce sound even when having a top plate tapped. <P>SOLUTION: The composite percussion instrument includes a top plate 1 and a side plate 2 supporting the top plate 1, and the side plate 2 is provided with a hole to which a cap part 4 of a pet bottle 3 is to be fitted. This structure allows the pet bottle 3 to be firmly fixed to the side plate 2, whereby a percussion instrument using the pet bottle, which can stably produce sound, is implemented.
