<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of illuminating a ceiling side, when installed on the ceiling. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device includes: a lighting device bodies 2 separately arranged on the ceiling 7 at a designated interval; EL modules 3 arranged on each lighting device body 2 and having EL (electroluminescent) light emitting layers, a pair of electrodes for applying designated voltage to the EL light emitting layers, primary light emitting surfaces 12a for emitting light from the EL light emitting layers, and light emitting side faces; and a lighting-up circuit 4 for making the EL light emitting layers emit light by applying designated voltage to the pair of electrodes of each EL module. Further, the lighting device includes a light guide section 5 for applying light emitted from the light emitting side face 12b of the EL module 3 to a side face side of the lighting device body to a ceiling 17 side while the lighting device body 2 is arranged on the ceiling 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
