<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in an optical touch input device by discriminating between a state before touch operation and a state at the time of touch operation to adjust output of a light emission part. <P>SOLUTION: An optical touch input device includes: a display panel; plural infrared ray emission elements arranged in correspondence with two adjacent sides of the display panel; a lens part arranged in correspondence with the other two sides of the display panel and reflecting light emitted from each of the infrared ray emission elements; a light receiving part arranged in correspondence with two adjacent sides of the display panel; and a touch control unit having a touch coordinate calculation part for calculating touch coordinates on the basis of received light information collected from the light receiving part and a light emission control part for discriminating between light output of each infrared ray emission element at the time of touch and at the time of non-touch and making the light output at the time of non-touch lower than that at the time of touch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
