<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinion gear maintaining the strength of a double bearing reel higher than a conventional one without implementing a conventional experimental test or complicated analysis. <P>SOLUTION: In the pinion gear, the bottom wall-thickness (a) of gear teeth 32c is 1.21 mm, the outer diameter (b) of a spool 15 is 49.10 mm, the height (c) of the gear teeth 32c is 0.88 mm, the bottom diameter (d) of the gear teeth 32c is 6.03 mm, and the rotational frequency (e) of the pinion gear 32 when a drive gear 31 is rotated once is 6.39. With this structure, the bottom wall-thickness (a) of the gear teeth 32c of the pinion gear 32 of a model A is larger than (f) (f=ä(b*c)/(d*e)}), which is 1.12 mm, obtained by dividing the product of the outer diameter (b) of the spool 15 and the height (c) of the gear teeth 32c by the product of the bottom diameter (d) of the gear teeth 32c and the rotational frequency (e) of the pinion gear 32 when the drive gear 31 is rotated once. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
