<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the detection precision of an oxygen sensor by precisely adjusting the oxygen sensor to a predetermined temperature in a heater control device of the oxygen sensor. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: the oxygen sensor having an element for detecting oxygen concentration and a heater for heating this element; and a control means having a heater control means for controlling electricity to be supplied to the heater so that the temperature of the element may reach a predetermined level.
