<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for producing an ornament, capable of simply and efficiently producing the ornament. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool A1 for producing an ornament includes plates 1 and 2 having base end edges 1a and 2a and outer peripheral edges 1b and 2b connected to both ends of the base end edges; and a connection part 3 for turnably connecting the plates 1 and 2. The outer peripheral edges 1b and 2b of the plates 1 and 2 are roughly symmetrical on both sides of the connection part 3, and the plates 1 and 2 can be folded so as to overlap each other. The plate 1 has recesses 11A and 11B recessed to the inner sides than the periphery thereof, and N pieces of long holes 12. The plate 2 has N+1 pieces of long holes 22. Both ends 121, 122, 221 and 222 of the long holes 11 and 12 are positioned near the outer peripheral edges 1b and 2b of the plates 1 and 2.
