The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing polyurethane urea, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a polyurethane urea elastic yarn having excellent power by mixing glycol having a low number-average molecular weight of 800-1300 Daltons and glycol having number-average molecular weight of 1600-2000 Daltons at a mass ratio of 2:1-7:1, and then manufacturing a prepolymer using diisocyanate, and obtaining a polyurethane urea polymer by adding a chain extender to the prepolymer, and then agitating the polyurethane urea polymer to age and spin the obtained polyurethane urea spinning solution.
