PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a lifetime of charges by including a passivation layer comprising an Al2O3 film to improve a passivation property. CONSTITUTION: An emitter layer(20) is located on the front surface of a substrate(10). A passivation layer(30) is located on the emitter layer. The passivation layer comprises an Al2O3 film. An antireflection layer(40) is located on the passivation layer. A first electrode(50) is electrically connected to the emitter. A second electrode(60) is located on the rear surface of the substrate.
