<p>The device has a brake disk provided with a carrier body (1) and friction layers (4, 4'), which are made of fiber-reinforced ceramic material. An actuator device is provided with a brake lining (3), and the carrier body is provided with a ring-shaped surface area. The brake lining and the ring-shaped surface area contact each other during application of brake. A radial extension (bb) of the brake lining is larger than radial extensions (br) of the friction layers. A material of the carrier body includes a larger fiber length than a material of the friction layers.</p> |
