<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance light shielding properties of the outside of a display area of a liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: A light shielding film 54 is formed on the outside of a frame area, in which a frame light shielding film 53 is formed, of a peripheral area extending to the outside of an image display area 10a on a TFT array substrate 10. A data line driving circuit 101 and routing wiring 90 are covered with the light shielding film 54. The routing wiring 90 electrically connects an external connection terminal 102 to the data line driving circuit 101, a scanning line driving circuit 104, upper and lower conduction terminals 106 and the like. The light shielding film 54 can block incident light which cannot be completely blocked by the frame light shielding film 53 and reflection light reflected by the light shielding film 54 and the frame light shielding film 53 to a TFT array substrate 1 side on the outside of the frame area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
