<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for discharge lamp capable of downsizing the device and shortening an inspection time, as well as reducing an effect of noises at the time of inspection. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device 1 comprises a discharge lamp 11 to light by discharge in a tube and a lighting device 10 to control lighting state of the discharge lamp 11, in one body, and has a case 13 to enclose the lighting device 10 together with one of two lead parts 12 to connect the discharge lamp 11 and the lighting device 10. Further, in the case 13, a connector 17 to be connected to a fixed resistor used in place of the discharge lamp 11 at the time of inspection of the lighting device 10 is provided at one of the outer side faces of a parallelpiped case 14. By this constitution, at the time of the inspection of the lighting device 10, the fixed resistor 18 can be installed to the connector 17 without removing the discharge lamp 11 from the lighting device 10 in the state the lighting device 10 is enclosed in the case 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
