<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover glass for flat panel displays, which is difficult to be spontaneously destroyed. <P>SOLUTION: The cover glass for flat panel displays is obtained by chemically strengthening glass obtained by a fusion process, in which the glass before chemical strengthening does not contain defects having a particle size of ≥40 μm, and the cover glass has internal tensile stress of ≥30 MPa and a thickness of ≤1.5 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
