<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle monitoring device for vehicle which has a simpler configuration and does not notify a detected object not hindering vehicle travel as an obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: The obstacle monitoring device for vehicle comprises: a front detection part for detecting a front object with respect to the direction of vehicle travel; a front-side detection part for detecting a front-side object with respect to the direction of vehicle travel; a notification part for notifying the presence of a detected object as an obstacle; a notification restriction condition establishment determination part for determining whether a prescribed notification restriction condition for restricting notification of an obstacle by the notification part is established; and a notification control part for restricting the notification by the notification part about an object detected by the front-side detection part when it is determined that the notification restriction condition is established. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
