<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device capable of separating certain components from a fixing member or reducing contact pressures between the certain components and the fixing member with a reduced number of components. <P>SOLUTION: The image heating device has a converting part. When a moving mechanism is positioned so that a contacting member is separated from a first rotating member, the converting part converts a displacement of the moving mechanism when the contacting member moves from a contacting position to a separating position into movement of a supporting unit in a separating direction by which a second rotating member is separated away from the first rotating member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
