<p>Disclosed are a method and device for network conferences, belonging to the field of network communications. The method includes: a local proxy server receiving a conference request for establishing a conference sent by user equipment, requesting from a conference centre server the conference place server information registered therein; detecting the conference place server in the conference place server information according to the conference place server information, taking the conference place server conforming to the first pre-set standards as the target conference place server, and sending the conference request to the target conference place server; and establishing a media channel between the local proxy server and the target conference place server and a media channel between the local proxy server and the user equipment, making the user equipment carry out a network conference with the conference place server via the established media channels.</p> |
