<p>Provided is a light blocking device, which can be applied, with a simple structure, to the glass surfaces of windows and the like of existing architectural structures, and which has light transmittance freely adjusted by a user. The light blocking device is provided with: a first light blocking sheet (1), which is disposed along the glass surface (G); a second light blocking sheet (2), which is disposed to overlap the first light blocking sheet (1); and a sliding/holding mechanism (3), which selectively disposes the second light blocking sheet (2) at a predetermined disposing position (A), and a shifted disposing position (B), which is shifted by a discretionary distance with respect to the first light blocking sheet (1) from the predetermined disposing position (A). The transmittance of light that passes through the first light blocking sheet (1) and the second light blocking sheet (2), said first light blocking sheet and second light blocking sheet overlapping each other, is changed by shifting the second light blocking sheet (2).</p> |
