<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a displayed body capable of uniformly illuminating a displayed surface and restraining cost at a low level, in the lighting device for a displayed body for illuminating the displayed body having the square or elliptical displayed surface with major and short axes wherein respective lengths are different in vertical and lateral directions with light emitted from a light emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: In the lighting device for a displayed body wherein the light emitting device 4 is arranged at a displayed surface 1a side of the displayed body 1 having the square or elliptical displayed surface 1a with major and short axes X1, X2 wherein respective lengths are different in vertical and lateral directions via a designated interval and light is emitted from the light emitting device 4 to the displayed surface 1a in order to illuminate the displayed surface 1a, a light emitting unit has one light emitting device 4. The light emitting device 4 is supported on the displayed body 1 with a support member 3, a plurality of light emitting diodes for emitting light to the displayed surface 1a are arranged on a single light emitting device 4, and light-distributing lenses for distributing light from the light emitting diodes are respectively arranged on the light emitting diodes so as to weaken the light in an optical axis direction and strengthen the light in the major axis X1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
