PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device capable of monitoring the operation of a motor provided with a circuit breaker at a low cost.

SOLUTION: A monitoring device provided at an electric power station comprises: a plurality of motors provided at each of a plurality of circuit breakers so as to make each of the plurality of circuit breakers in an on-state or an off-state; and a power source device for supplying power to the plurality of motors through a power line. The monitoring device also comprises: a measuring unit for measuring a current flowing on the upstream side than all the positions of each node where a plurality of circuit breakers at power lines are connected to the power lines; and a calculation unit for calculating a period in which power flows in a motor provided at any one of a plurality of the circuit breakers based on a measuring result of the measuring unit when a state of any one of the plurality of circuit breakers is changed.
