<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collector for domestic use or indoor installation in which a discharge wire and a dust collecting plate can demonstrate and maintain an excellent collecting function and also can remove odor attendant on electric dust collection. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge wire and the dust collecting plate are provided and prescribed high voltage is applied thereto to electrify dust particles and to collect the dust particles on the dust collecting plate. Further a water washing mechanism is provided to wash the dust collecting plate at the prescribed timing. A spraying mechanism for spraying and supplying water or steam to dust air is provided and an electric resistance detector is provided. Water supply amount of the spraying mechanism is controlled on the basis of detection result by the electric resistance detector so that dust electric resistivity may remain in a prescribed range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
