<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of reducing the degree of decline of a distance even when a hitting point is shifted to the vicinity of a toe side lower part or the vicinity of a heel side upper part. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head 1 is a wood type golf club head with a hollow shell structure including a face part 2, a sole part 3, a back part 4, a crown part 5, a toe side part 6, a heel side part 7 and a hosel part 8. A groove 10 is provided from the rear lower part of the toe side part 6 through the back part 4 to the rear upper part of the heel side part 7, and a weight body 11 is mounted on the groove 10. In order to fix the weight body 11, oblong holes 11a are provided on both ends in the longitudinal direction of the weight body 11, and a bolt 12 is inserted to the oblong hole 11a and screwed to a female screw hole 13 provided on a back surface part of the groove 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
