<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a manager, etc. of a game hall wherein many game machines are installed to recognize in an early stage that a main control device of a game machine has been illegally replaced. <P>SOLUTION: When the main control device is powered on, it sends identification information of CPU to a payout control device before proceeding with a remaining process. The payout control device compares this identification information with identification information that it received from the main control device before and stored. If there is no coincidence between the two pieces of identification information (S365: no), the payout control device executes an identification information abnormality announcement process (S390) and announces that there is something wrong with an excitement creating action symbol control device. Thereby, a probability that the main control device has been replaced can be easily detected.
