<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional roller capable of solving such the problem that since the conventional roller includes a shaft body having a hollow part and micropores and a roller body having liquid absorbing function (internal pressure acting characteristic) and has a structure to include a liquid reservoir sub chamber part of the shaft body or a groove part in order to secure the liquid absorbing function of the roller body, reduce a pressure loss and make dispersion of internal pressure uniform by distributing and allotting the internal pressure of the shaft body in the roll body, the conventional technique stays at the improvement of the structure of the shaft body and roller body and the most important and effective improvement of sheet material is not attained and the improvement of the structure of the shaft body remains unsatisfactory in terms of the strength. <P>SOLUTION: The functional roller includes the roller body constituted of porous sheet material such as elastic nonwoven fabric sheet material fitted to a roller shaft with micropores in a stacked manner, the roller body having the notch part of the roller body and an internal pressure acting channel with a lattice structure made of a low-density sheet material which is disposed in the circumferential direction of the roller body, wherein the untied area of the sheet material is formed on the surface layer part of the roller body and the fiber bundle area of the sheet material is formed on the inner surface layer part of the roller body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
