A fuel cell system is provided with a cell stack which uses hydrogen-containing gas to generate electricity, a heat exchanger which uses the heat discharged from the cell stack to heat water, and a hot water tank which stores the water heated by the heat exchanger. The fuel cell system is characterised in that a high-temperature heat recovery flow channel for heating the water to a prescribed temperature, and a low-temperature heat recovery flow channel for heating the water to a temperature that is lower than the prescribed temperature are formed in the heat exchanger; and a high-temperature-water in-flow unit, into which flows water which has passed through the high-temperature heat recovery flow channel and been heated, and a low-temperature-water in-flow unit, into which flows water which has passed through the low-temperature heat recovery flow channel and been heated, are provided in the hot water tank. |
