Provided is a nuclear particle which is for a pharmaceutical formulation and which is capable of emitting relatively large amounts of active pharmaceutical components at a specified timing. The present invention is a nuclear particle for forming a film, containing active pharmaceutical components, on a surface, and this decay-type nuclear particle for a pharmaceutical formulation is characterised in that: (1) the nuclear particle contains pharmaceutically acceptable inorganic material, and a decay promoting component; (2) the inorganic material has poor solubility in water; (3) the inclusion amount of the inorganic material is 50-95 weight%; and (4) the bulk density of the nuclear particle is at least 0.6g/mL.
