This mobile terminal device is provided with a vibrator which vibrates a housing; an analyzing unit which performs a frequency analysis with respect to sound input from a microphone; a calculating unit which calculates the change over time of the spectrum acquired by the analyzing unit with respect to sound input when the housing vibrates; and a control unit which performs receiving control on the basis of the change over time calculated by the calculating unit.
