<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a solar cell having improved photoelectric conversion efficiency. This solar cell (1) is provided with a solar cell substrate (9), p-side electrode (14), n-side electrode (15), and reflective layer (40). The solar cell substrate (9) has a semiconductor substrate (10), and a p-type surface (12p1) and an n-type surface (13n1) are exposed on one main surface of the solar cell substrate (9). In addition, a p-side electrode (14) is provided on the p-type surface (12p1), and an n-side electrode (15) is provided on the n-type surface (13n1). The reflective layer (40) is provided so as to at least cover at least part of a region (R) on which neither the p-side nor n-side electrode (14, 15) is provided on the one main surface of the solar cell substrate (9). By forming this constitution, light that reaches the region (R) is reflected to the light receiving surface (10a) side by the reflective layer (40); therefore, the utilization efficiency of the incoming light is increased by the light reaching the region (R) being prevented from exiting the back surface (10b).</p> |
