<p>Provided are a receptacle, which has a plug strongly fitted therein, and which has a reduced height, and a connector. A plug (10) has a rectangular shape. A main body (21) is provided with an opening (O), which is surrounded by sides (k-n), and which has the plug (10) mounted therein. Holding members (70-73) are positioned at both the ends of sides (m, n), and fix the plug (10). Each of the spring terminals (23a, 23b) is electrically connected to the plug (10), and has a U-shape having a folded portion when viewed from above. The leading end of the folded portion is positioned further toward the outside of the opening (O) than a side (m), and contact portions (90a, 90b) are positioned inside of the opening (O) when viewed from above. Fixing portions (92a, 92b) are positioned further toward the outside of the opening (O) than a side (k) when viewed from above. The portions of the spring terminals (23a, 23b), said portions facing the holding members (71 , 73), are bent to the direction away from the holding members (71, 73).</p> |
