<p>PURPOSE: A metal lattice pattern and a method for manufacturing a wire grid polarizer are provided to produce a stable color coordinate and to increase efficiency of process by controlling height and width of a second lattice pattern. CONSTITUTION: A first lattice layer which includes a plurality of first lattice patterns is formed on a transparent substrate(S1). The ratio of width and height of the first lattice pattern is 1:0.2-5. The width of the first lattice pattern is 10 to 200nm and the height of the first lattice pattern is 10 to 500nm. A void area is formed on a concaved portion of the first lattice layer by evaporating a metal layer on the first lattice layer(S2). The metal layer is patterned and a second lattice pattern is formed on the first lattice pattern(S3). The width of the second lattice pattern is 2 to 300nm.</p> |
