COOLING APPARATUS AND POWER CONVERTER HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cooling device and a power conversion device including the same are provided to fully cool a heat generation element by equalizing the temperature rise of a heat receiving member. CONSTITUTION: A power semiconductor device is installed at one side of a heat receiving member(2). A plurality of heat pipes(1) is separately arranged. The heat receiving unit of the plurality of heat pipes is installed at the other side of the heat receiving member. A heat radiation unit is ascended from the heat receiving unit of the plurality of heat pipes. A heat radiation fin is installed at the heat radiation unit. Cooling wind of natural convection is carried to the heat radiation fin. A longitudinal direction of the plurality of heat pipes is perpendicular to a flow direction of the cooling wind.
