PURPOSE: A drying apparatus for solidifying household waste by improving drying efficiency is provided to improve the drying efficiency of waste by increasing the contact time of waste and hot air inside a drying chamber. CONSTITUTION: A drying apparatus(10) for solidifying household waste by improving drying efficiency comprises a drum(20), an inlet, a hot air supply duct(40), and a hot air guide member. The inside the drum is used as a drying chamber. A stirring device is installed inside the drying chamber. The inlet is formed on one end of the drum. Waste is put into the drying chamber through the inlet. The hot air supply duct supplies hot air into the drying chamber. A hot air distribution plate having multiple distribution holes is installed on the end of the hot air supply duct. The hot air guide member guides the hot air to the inlet.
