PURPOSE: A humidity indicating composition and a humidity indicating kit using the same are provided to facilitate a verifying operation with respect to the safety of packages in case of moisture proof-packaging products. CONSTITUTION: A humidity indicating composition(3) includes a humidity indicating solution. The humidity indicating solution is obtained by adding an auxiliary indicating solution into a main indicating solution. If humidity is lower than a set humidity value, the color of the humidity indicating composition is changed to green-based color. If humidity is higher than the set humidity value, the color of the humidity indicating composition is changed to purple-based color. The color of the main solution is changed according to the change of pH values. The auxiliary indicating solution adjusts the pH values in order to change the color of the main indicating solution according to relative humidity. The main indicating solution is one or the mixture of cresol red, methyl red, phenol red, methyl orange, bromocresol purple, neutral red, alizarin red, benzaurin, bromophenol red, chlorophenol red, cresol benzyne, ethyl red, and ethyl orange. The auxiliary indicating solution is one or the mixture of acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and caustic soda.
