<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift-display a next program without giving discomfort to a user as much as possible during a channel selection operation. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver includes: prediction means predicting a maximum delay switch period of time, which is the latest switch case, among switch periods of time when a next program can be displayed when the next program is selected from an original program; and display control means displaying the original program based on original program data remaining in a buffer at a reception termination period of time from the reception termination period of time when reception of the original program is terminated and setting display reproduction speed to speed at which the original program is displayed from the reception termination period of time to the maximum delay switch period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
