<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply load of a charging roller uniformly all over a region in an axis direction. <P>SOLUTION: A charing roller 15 according to the present invention is a roll-shaped charing roller 15 that is brought into contact with a photosensitive drum 14 being a charged body and is rotatable in accordance with rotation of the photosensitive drum 14. The charing roller 15 includes a cylindrical hollow roll 100 constituted of a hollow elastic member. The hollow roll 100 is rotated together with the photosensitive drum 14 while changing in shape at a contact portion with the photosensitive drum 14 and restoring to an original state at a non-contact portion with the photosensitive drum 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
