<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a vibration control member disposed in a power transmission system for transmitting power from a driving source 40 to an image carrier 13 to exhibit a high effect to suppress vibration propagation to the image carrier 13. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 of the invention comprises an image carrier 13 rotatively driven by power supplied from a driving source 40; and a power transmission system for transmitting the power from the driving source 40 to the image carrier 13. The power transmission system includes, as a vibration control member for reducing vibration, a coupling member 44 in which a viscous fluid 55 is enclosed.
